The river Chiusella is particularly suitable for canoeing, expecially in its higher part. Springtime is certainly the best period to enjoy this sport (the month of may is absolutely the top).

Anyway, just remember that canoeing on the river Chiusella is quite dangerous. It is therefore reccommended to be more than good at this sport.
