The climbing walls in Traversella can be reached on foot in half an hour from Traversella and about 40 minutes from Camping Chiara.

Walls look south/south-west, at a height of about 1000 mts. There, it is possible to climb all the year long.

The first ways were opened in the 50s and today there are about 450 ways of different difficulty (from 2nd to 8a+ degree).

In 1998 a new section, entirely dedicated to the younger climbers, was opened. Today it is considered to be one of the best in Europe. The so-called "Settore delle Speranze" took almost one year of work: there are about 70 ways (up to degree 6a+).

The place is in permanent evolution: thanks to the hard work of a few volunteers several new ways are opened every year.
