Traversella covers an area that corresponds to the 25% of the whole Comunità Montana. It is, of course, the most beautiful village of all...

The name of our village comes from its position: it is situated beyond the river Bersella, Trans-Versellam, from which came the name Traversella.

It includes the whole upper valley and 10 hamlets, that were once very crowded: Chiara, Succinto, Cappia, Delpizzen, Fondo (once called Valchiusella), Tissone, Tallorno, Perotto, Gaido e Cantoncello.

Today they are unfortunately forgotten, but some very good examples of local architecture remain!

Traversella offers several attractions to its visitors:
